Sample at Kurtkeller 006: Cascade-tastic 01 on 02/21/2014. Pours a clear Rosé wine color with a thin white head that diminishes quickly to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of cherries, oak and vanilla. Full-bodied with a mildly boozy character and flavors of tart cherries, caramel malt, Hawaiian Punch and yeast. The finish is lightly sour with a cherry and yeast aftertaste. Good beer all around.
