16 oz. Beer #5 for the virtual Extreme Beer Fest. Aroma has notes of strong maple syrup, smoke, berries. Pours inky black with a one finger dark tan head with good retention. Taste is highly sweet, a little savory, not cloying, with delicious berry chocolate stout flavors. Damn near exactly like berry and maple syrup topped pancakes. Probably the best fruited stout I’ve ever had, and a top 3 contender for one of my favorite pastry stouts.
