Gin Barrel Aged Wild Ale - ZAO Collab - When ZAO's 2019 tour took them through Michigan we gathered to blend a beer. The resulting blend of two oak barrels was named "Croatoan" after a song on the 2021 ZAO album . Croatoan is an exceedingly complex wild ale with notes of vanilla, herbal gin botanicals, tart cherry and charred oak.

16 oz. Aroma has notes of gun metal, lemon, vanilla, wood, tobacco, leather. Pours hazy golden with a one finger bone white head that falls into a ring pretty quickly. Taste is highly sour (10/10) and acidic with barrel aged and sour culture flavors. Nice.
