Strong yet super smooth Hazy DIPA. Creamy, extremely drinkable and dangerous!

Citra and Krush hot side lay down a solid, tropical fruit and mango foundation. Cold side, a further hit of Citra and Krush. Motueka then also joins the gang to add mojito lime and more tropical and citrus fruit.

Hot side: Citra/Krush
Cold side: Citra/Krush/Motueka.

Can. Hazy gold beer, a small tidy pale cream colour head, doesn't last long. Airy palate, mildly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Light bodied pale malts, light but smooth and delivering a fairly forward creamy sweetness. Hops bring good cooling pine and a bright juicy citrus and stone fruit mash up. Motueka slightly lost here, just a hint of lime on the light and crispy finish which also brings a pleasing light savoury skunk streak. Yeah, good stuff, a little more Motueka wallop and this would have been top echelon.

Can from House Of Trembling Madness. Milky golden body with an off-white head. No visible carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of dried mango and fresh grapefruit. Flavour of watermelon and honeydew melon. Medium to full body with a smooth mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Punchy and delicious, with a lovely watermelon vibe.

On tap at Dark Revolution Taproom in Salisbury, Wiltshire. A murky golden/orange/yellow coloured pour with a decent white head on top. Hoppy, orange, mango, peach, tropical fruit taste. The aroma is more or less along the same lines. Rich, thick and dank, went down easily on a sweltering afternoon in Wiltshire.
