We’ve teamed up with Scottish gods of ice cream Mackie’s for a rich and indulgent 7% honeycomb stout that you can eat before dessert, after dessert or forget dessert and just have this instead.
Mackie's are based on the family farm 17 miles from Brewdog's brewery, where they've been making ice cream from "Sky to Scoop" since 1986.

Keg at Brewdog Lothian Road. Pours dark brown with a thin beige to tan head. Aromas of ginger and chocolate. Taste is sweet up front, fruity, vanilla, lactose, then a hint of ginger. Bit too sweet for me.

Dark brown, almost black pour with a stable tan head. Aromas of cream/milk, buiscuit, nuts, vanilla, some honey as well. Taste is roasted malt, cream, blueberries, cookies some licquorice. Not bad, but natural flavourings on the list of ingredients are not that convincing.

Keg at Dogtap. It pours opaque, jet black with a small tan head. The aroma is sweet, perfumed, juicy, blueberry muffin, vanilla, fruit cobbler, jammy, tangy, Victoria sponge cake and jam. The taste is firmly dry, bitter, burnt toast, charred, umami, dries fruits, blueberry cobbler, burnt, toast, honeycombe, crunch, vanilla sugar booze, burnt toast and leather with a toasty finish. Fulsomely body and fine carbonation. Maybe a bit sweet for my tastes, but not bad overall. My brother would love this sweet shit.
