We’ve teamed up with Scottish gods of ice cream Mackie’s for a rich and indulgent 7% honeycomb stout that you can eat before dessert, after dessert or forget dessert and just have this instead.
Mackie's are based on the family farm 17 miles from Brewdog's brewery, where they've been making ice cream from "Sky to Scoop" since 1986.

440ml can from Tesco Extra in Chesterfield - black body with a firm tan head. Nothing finer as a kid as getting a double nougat with Mackie's Honeycomb, sickly as fuck, but one of life's little luxuries. This brings a lot of that back, chocolate heavy, sweet from the honeycomb, creamy mouthfeel. Not as sickly as I'd hoped, but a good effort.

Can at Goblet. Pitch black body, thick creamy beige head. Honeyish sweet taste, lactose. Dryish seeming taste initially, before the adjuncts kick in, caramelly, huge honey, some hazelnut, fake, but kinda nice, ending sweetish. Had worse

Keg at BD Southampton. Dark and glossy..Thin foamy beige head. Aroma is big and sweet - caramel and marshmallow. Flavourwise it has added praline. Light-medium bodied. Slick to oily. Soft carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Good stuff if rather sweet
