Conditioned on Misty Valley coffee from @newharvestcoffee, orange peel, and dried cascara (the cherry coffee beans grow inside), this 10.5% sipper is beautifully complex. You’ll get strong notes of coffee and chocolate alongside subtler notes of citrus, cherry, tobacco, and leather.

500mL bottle, undated (2025 release), drunk 9/10/25.
Clear, dark. Small, tan head sits at partial cover.
Rich, rich, spicy, elegant bourbon with mild sweetness and a good deal of dry cherry and oak. The adjuncts are incredibly tasteful. No big roast, no bitter orange or fruity/earthy cascara rammed down your throat. Just rich, coffee-laced bourbon with soft fruitiness and an Old Fashioned-like accent. No alcohol noted.
Coffee is more forward in the flavor, but fruity, sweet, soft, earthy with low roastiness. Soft, chewy, not quite syrupy malts are nonetheless properly attenuated on the finish, with no alcohol. Juicy and bright citrus/cascara notes add complexity without overpowering, similar to the coffee. Bourbon a little less evident in flavor than the nose, but still shows through nicely, adding cherry, vanilla, oak and mild spice. Man, these guys just cannot be stopped!!
