Vom Fass in Rapid City. Getreide in Nase und Trunk, dann crispy, hinten recht flach aber nichts schlimmes dabei. Schmeckt verhältnismäßig leicht, aber nicht wässrig. Nach einem Tag in den Badlands nicht verkehrt.

On tap at the brewery. Pours very pale gold. Grain, corn, sulfur, dirty socks. Medium body. Bad.

Crisp, pure golden coloured body with a faint just off-white head, barely a centimetre or so tall that fades fairly quickly. Aroma of just about nothing with some water, very light malts, a dash of biscuits and grain and no hops or anything to speak of, perhaps some artificial sugars. Ultra light-bodied; Nutty-ish malts show at first with some grain and biscuity notes alnog with a dash of very light hops which weren't noticeable before in the nose, but that's about it - fairly mild throughout. Aftertaste shows the grain, malt and little else, perhaps some bitter and assertive grassy notes. Overall, a pretty poor beer without much flavour at all, but that was expected from a few of these beers. Not really worth grabbing here of course, unless, like me, you sample the entire nine-beer lineup as samplers! I sampled this four ounce pour on draught, as part of the full nine-beer lineup sampling, from the brewpub/brewery in Rapid City, South Dakota, just hours after landing in the state [for the first time, ever] on 25-June-2020 for US$12,25 (for all nine beers!).

Draft at the source. Clear pale yellow color. White pepper aroma. Taste is peppery and light. Easy drinking and clean.

On tap in a flight at the brewery. Pours a clear, urine-esque, yellow color, with no head or hint of one. The nose is corn, agave nectar, some herbal hop spice, and dirt. The flavor is sweet and malty, with a pretty fair, hop bitterness that balances out well. Light body, smooth, and crisp. This is a sickly looking, awful smelling beer, but the flavor is almost passable. Could be worse.
