12 oz. can. Pours a clear gold color with a thick white head and very good retention. Good lacing. Lots of streaming carbonation. Strong hoppy pale ale aroma. Hoppy, sharp pilsner malt flavor, but not as bitter as the aroma suggests. Crisp and clean finish. Good example of the style.

Can from A.J.’s. Big citrusy American or Kiwi hops, Mosaic, bit of dank, bit of cat piss, some tropical fruit. Wouldn’t guess it was a pilsner. Pretty deep golden orange, touch of haze. Dank-ass flaovr, ripe mango, bit stinky, biscuits, grapefruit, some piss. Can barely get the lager character but the beer is good. Great hops. Really is an IPL.

12 ounce can from Beer Run. It was a nice (and expensive) surprise to see they expanded to Charlottesville. Hazy golden, large tan head, good retention. Aroma of pale malt, spicy and citrusy hops .The taste is citrus, grassy, spicy hops, pale malt. Crisp, lingering bitterness. Solid.
