Oren IPA

Draft at My Friend’s Growler. Clear golden color white head. Nice citrus and tropical fruit aroma. Taste is bittersweet citrus and pine. Decent.

Bright, dank citrus nose, grapefruit and pine and weed on top of a slight malt sweetness. Looks amazing, pouring a beautiful slightly hazed gold with a infinite head and lace upon lace. But the taste...Oren develops a good front end, offering loads of pine and passion fruit and orange mixed with a toasted grainy base, but everything tapers off towards the middle, leaving only a bitter, piney back end with little malt or hop complexity to offer much depth. Finishes dry, closer to a session IPA than a big boy beer. Solid sparkly palate works, but otherwise skippable.
