Big. Strong. Sharp. Boneyard Beer’s legendary DIPA, Hop Venom, and Fort George’s Electric Surfboard are equally capable of crushing the boredom out of summer beer. Nothing says “I am ready for something to happen,” like a crisp, bitter, fruity, almost excessively dry-hopped Double IPA. We worked together on this one, which makes it double electric and double venom.

Packed with cryo hops, Electric Venom has a seriously fruity nose and a dry, pithy finish. It’s the perfect union of two of the best Double IPAs in the PNW.

16oz can from Brewers Haven. Clear golden pour, thin creamy white head. Light hoppy aroma, faint citrus. Taste brings some dank notes, weak tropical fruit, with a small bitter bite at the back. Very mellow for a DIPA.

16 oz. can, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma is quite dank, with plenty of pot-like hops, plenty of pine, oily resins, and some sweet biscuity malt. Flavour is dank and oily, with plenty of resinous hop oils, major dankness, and some sweet biscuity malt to back. Wonderful balance between aggressive hops and just enough malt to back. Excellent.

Grassy, slightly oniony hop aroma, pale body, no head. On the palate, it's got a nicer hop character, with blueberry accents, lots of bitterness, clean pale malt. Good balance. Solid - the chinook and columbus are doing the work here, with the mosaic maybe coming through a little bit, though for me that's not a good thing.

473mL can. Pours clear pale gold with a white head. Super dank nose, lots of crisp pine, some sweet biscuity malts. Flavour has lots of dank oils, crisp pine, bitter resins, and a fresh biscuity malt profile. Fantastic hop profile, fairly aggressive, good malt backing. This is excellent.
