EBC 35.

30 cl bottle Batch# batch 4 (6.8%) & 6 (7.3%), next to batch 5 (5.3%). All have the same color, deep amber, mostly clear. Batch 4 (6.8%) was a gusher with clear brett infection so I won’t bother with rating that one, this one is for batch 6 (7.3%). No head. Aroma’s: Fruity, smoky, rubber, light grain. Retronasal it’s malty sweet, smoky, fruity. Flavor is moderate sweet, ashy, light fruity sour and light bitter. Medium bodied. Finish is ashy, slightly dry and light bitter.

Bottle @ home. 7.3% written on the cap by the illustrious PotjeBier. Reddish color, small off-white head. Smell and taste malts, a slight hint of band-aid in the aroma, lightly sweetish with a light bitter finish. Decent to medium body and medium carbonation. Well it doesn’t look like a double blond to me but it tastes ok.Earlier Rating: 12/3/2015 Total Score: 2.5Bottle [thanks PotjeBier!] @ weekly tasting shared with Dutchdrebus. Hazy dark orange color, full sized foamy white head. Bad aroma of moldy, sweaty cheese. I don’t believe this, this beer tastes like a (in Dutch) "lieveheersbeestje"!!! WTF!! Unbelievable. Perhaps if you can get the lieveheersbeestje out of your thoughts you’ll get some malts, paint, overripe fermenting red fruit and something weird. It’s not really filthy, but I couldn’t drink this liquid lieveheersbeestje. It fucked up my brain.

Bottle @ benzai. Huge chunks in my glass, huge off-white head and murky amber beer. Smells cheese, moldy, feet, malts. Tastes ladybug. Not even kidding. If you’ve played outside a lot you’ll recognise it instantly. Maybe some fingerpaint on the side. Bizar. Medium body, soft carbo. This taste cannot be intended. Might be a bad bottle or something.
