Als ordentlicher Eisbock hat unser Ewald ganz schön Wumms, doch wer genauer hinschmeckt, findet auch seine malzaromatisch-ausgewogene Seite mit angenehmer Restsüße und feinen Hopfennoten.

0.33 l bottle from the brewery, best before January 2028. Hazy, golden orange with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish-malty, slightly fruity-floral aroma of honey, apricot and sultanas. Fairly sweet, malty, moderately bitter, slightly fruity-floral taste of honey, almond, sultanas and apricot, followed by a medium long, moderately bitter, only slightly boozy finish. Full body, smooth and slightly oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very easy to drink, doesn't feel anywhere near its high abv. Not the most complex Eisbock but very well-crafted.

Süffiger, leicht alkoholischer Beginn. Etwas karamellig, mild herb, geringe Karbonisierung. Spritzig, langer Abgang, OK. 7/11/9/9//9
