Alfred Wainwright believed there was only one thing more rewarding than a long walk, and that’s a fresh beer. Wainwright Rambler (4% ABV) has been crafted with the finest ingredients to deliver a bitter and fresh citrus taste, with flavours of orange and honey.
With earthy, floral scents and an enticing pale gold colour, this wonderful beer is made to be enjoyed on a summer’s day. Launching just in time for those golden summer evenings, whether you’re winding down after a walk or simply savouring a well-earned pause at the end of the day, Wainwright Rambler is the perfect reward for a day of adventuring.

I abandoned my one attempt to ramble up the Old Man Of Coniston due to looming black clouds, making it back down to Coniston before it lashed down. That proved a good decision, less so with this bland hopped effort. It does have a lovely traditional texture though and a gentle bitterness.
