Bottle thanks to Chow. Pours a cloudy ruby with small pinkish white head that lasts. The aroma is strong berry, wheat, dough. Medium body, jammy, berries, light acidity, nice tartness, very good.

Bottled July 2017, drunk 8/16/17
Dark purple-crimson-magenta with lighter ruby highlights and a violet head atop showing moderate-to-low retention. Moderately cloudy, as well.
Nose is a very vinous, bright berry-like juiciness with a pinch of vanilla to soften/balance. Lactic acid is poignant but not overdone while otherwise, a bit of cereal-like wheat and lactose sit on the end. No alcohol or flaw.
Not quite as bright a clarity to the flavor as the Blackberry Orange or Cherry Raspberry, but still more depth than the mango and blueberry versions. Very tart, tannic and yet still amply juicy with plentiful, engaging carbonation and no alcohol or flaw. Soft wheat-like texture helps balance and there's a touch of vanilla and cereal on the finish alongside vibrant berry-like flavors.

Somewhere: pours murky maroon with anpink head. Aroma is definitely raspberry... not really sure what boysen berries are about. Taste is fairly sour and full of berries. Not many traditional beer tastes as others have noted. Still a pleasant warm weather sipper. I think boysen is more pronounced in the taste.

Draft at Beltway Brewing company. Poured a almost totally opaque, vibrant purple color with a pink head. Aroma was berries, but not super tart. Flavor was lots of berry - raspberry, boysenberry. Very light tartness.

Bottle at home. Thick purple liquid nice enough head. Nose is rich berry smoothie with lactose. Tastes the same of raspberry, boysen berry, sweet lactose, light lemony citrus, hint of wheat. Tart and fruity. Still hung over from whisky last night so this easing me back to drinking lifestyle
