Black with a bit of a rocky beige head. Sweet molasses, chocolate, dark fruits, coconut, vanilla, some booze. Finish is sweet, coconut and booze. Full, slick body. The alcohol gets a bit harsh from time to time but overall a very nice big stout.

pous very very dark brown, settles black with a small smooth film with bubbles brown head.
chocolate, brown cake spices in the aroma, quite strong aroma, quite pleasant too. bit like a spicy chocolate cake with no frosting. a lot of toasted coconut going on. roasted malts, but faint.
flavor is roasted malts, toasted coconut, chocolate, end is mostly roasted coconut with some roasted malts bitterness in the far end.

Kolor smoliście czarny, bez prześwitów. Piana ciemno brązowa, bardzo niska, szybko znika z powierzchni płynu.
Aromat palony, tytoniowy, czekoladowy i oczywiście kokosowy (tak przynajmniej informuje browar na etykiecie). Intensywność aromatu jest na poziomie wysokim.
W smaku, walory zapachowe, zwłaszcza kokos są dodatkowo wzmocnione. Generalnie smak jest słodki, nawet ulepkowaty, skontrowany jednak wysoką goryczką. Goryczka redukuje sporą słodycz i ostatecznie góruje w smaku. Goryczka ma charakter palony.
Alkohol zdradziecko ukryty. Wysycenie niskie. Tekstura, oleista, aksamitna, bardzo gładka. Ciało wysokie, pełne. Posmak długi wytrawny, palony i oczywiście kokosowy.

Nose is dark chocolate, roast malts, coconut shavings, liquorice, spice.
Taste comprises cacao nimbs, dark malts, spice, coconut shavings, charr, dried fruit rinds.
Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost.
Seems strange drinking a dark beer from Soma ... good shit mind like their hoppy output.

Can. Near opaque dark brown beer, small and short lived bubbly tan head. A pretty light palate for the style, semi dry with good fine minerally carbonation. Smooth dark malts, good dark chocolate malts tempered with a little dark malt cream. Good coconut and a little vanilla provides a good bounty bar vibe. Light and crisp finish. My first dark brew from Soma, that I can recall anyway, and it is as solid as their hoppy offerings. Perhaps a barleywine or three next?
