Can, 0.5l. Clear dark ruby pour with one finger soapy beige head. Poor retention and lacing. Smell is malty and grainy with a touch of caramel. Thin to medium body with high carbonation. Light and watery texture. Moderately bittersweet with very slight metallic acidity. Aroma of malts, grains, corn. Slightly roasted, a touch of caramel. Some metal in the aftertaste. Slightly bitter finish. Overall, quite ok, price considered. Good value for money.

Can. dark brown color with huge off-white head. Weak aroma of roasted malt and coffee. Coffee, roasted malt, notes of caramel in taste. Coffee bitter finish. Not so bad as expected.

Can in Gabrovo, Bulgaria - picked up at the local Kaufland. Pours muted, mostly clear brown with a soft, creamy beige head. Pretty decent aroma, just some lightly toasted, brown bread malts, dashes of cocoa. Medium sweet flavor with nicely rounded, bready malts, some toasty toffee, soft earth, mild dried fruits. Light bodied with average, massaging carbonation. Sweet finish with more toasty brown bread, mellow toffee, suggestions of roast and cocoa, very faint bitter earth and dirty leaves, some further dried fruit sweetness. I mean, schwarzbiers don’t really get much better than this. The balance is here, there’s some decent depth of character...I think this is really damn solid stuff.

Can, Kaufland. Aroma mild, cardboard, soapy. Light caramel. Clear dark ruby-brown colour. Beige head, rather short duration. Taste is again mild, neutral. Shortage of flavour. Rather sweet, light caramel, almost nonexistent dark malts. Some cardboard. Not so bad, but very weak. Drinkable, but sad.

Can. Pours clear black, large creamy tan head, nice lacing. Aroma is light roasty, cardboard, grain. Flavor is medium sweet, little bitterness, grainy, grassy. Medium body, creamy mouthfeel. Not going to win any awards, but its not bad.

takie przecietne piwo, ale powiem szczerze ze sadzilem ze to bedzie jeszcze gorsza przygoda. Ciemny kolor z akcentami czerwonych refleksow. w smaku karmelowy slod i praktycznie tylko on wystepuje. piana srednia.
