Deep in the Tree House forest, the treetops swayed as the celebration began. Casks the size of boulders were rolled and tapped, spouting rivers of the kingdom's newest concoction. Dressed in glimmering red robes with a crown of fresh pine boughs, the woodland king took his throne.

King Sap is a Double IPA that unites two of our favorite juice bombs! Pouring a rich orange color with layers of sticky foam, hop-saturated notes cascade over the palate. Massive doses of the king's Citra bring sweet aromas of orange sorbet and juicy mangos. Chinook bursts atop this creamy base with notes of sweet berries, bright white grapefruit, and a rush of pine resin! Long live the king!

Charlton draught, 8/12/25.
Deep copper-bronze-maize. Thoroughly hazy. Big, off-white head, strong retention.
Was excited for this one and the nose delivers albeit a bit timidly. Not that the aroma is weak, it's just hard to get at the nature of the beer from it. Dried apricot, mango and orange juice with mild spice. Not tons of Sap in the nose, though there's a touch of the spiciness. Regardless, it's clean, bright and juicy with big, round, honey-like malts and no booze or resin.
The flavor is where it really shines. Full-on spicy Christmas Chinook goodness. But with amplified round, juicy softness from the King's maltiness and Citra. Cones out to overripe stone fruit, tropical fruit and intense, dried apricot. Rich, supple, deep malts and excellent attenuation with no alcohol noted.

Pours a hazy, caramel-butterscotch color, with big, fluffy head. Aroma is very juicy citrus and tropical fruit, some resin. Some Juicy Fruit gum notes. Flavors follow, with light, underlying sweetness. Soft mouthfeel. Mild hop bitterness in the finish. Very good--I think the Sap line is my favorite and this is another solid addition!

Dark hazy orange colour and small white head. Danky papaya aroma. Medium-bodied. Flavour has papaya, alcohol, grapefruit. Solid.
