(Re-rate, can, BB 021017) Aroma had also dark chocolate. Palate was more balanced without the alcohol burning. Taste had more dark chocolate. Aftertaste was more balanced.
(Can, 0.33 l - BB 080817,from Alko, 20161125) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had burnt malts, liquorice and ash. Palate was full bodied and quite warming with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, liquorice, ash, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet, ashy and bitter. A too boozy imperial stout. Nice burnt finish though. Old score: 3.4
