To celebrate the oft-rainy Pacific Northwest, we’ve brewed a New-World India Pale Ales featuring exotic Ella hops loaded with aromas of kiwi and passionfruit. These fresh and zippy hops are nicely balanced by a clean pale malt character. We’ve liberally dry hopped Umbrella to add to its distinct and complex flavor. Enjoyable anytime, rain or shine. Go ahead—grab an Umbrella and let it pour.

Bomber shared at a tasting, 5/4/15. Clear pale golden, thin creamy off-white head, good retention. Aroma of dry citrus, tropical, pithy, piney hops, mild pale crackery malt. The taste is tropical, piney, citrus hops, pale malt with a bit of doughiness. Medium bodied, well balanced.

Bomber from Marcus. Thanks! Pours gold with a creamy/frothy white head. Aroma is really fruity and floral. Med body or better. Flavor is fruit, floral, and then anise? Anyway, it’s fresh, fruity and decently bitter. It’s very good ale.

Really liking the hops on this, mix of pine resin and grapefruit. Clear golden body with soft head, sharp hoppy nose, sharper taste. Despite the tang, still easy to drink.

On tap at Pelican Pub in Pacifc City. Pours a clear gold with medium off white head that leaves spotty lacing. The aroma is citrus and pine. Similar flavors to nose, lingering bitterness, very good.

Bomber. Pours a clear orange color with a medium white head. A big citrus nose, oranges. The flavor is biscuit earthy malts, big citrus, resin, robust sweet fruity hops. Very clean and tasty. Lemon, light bitterness. More on the sweet fruity late boil side of things. Good.

22oz Bottle. Pours out a fresh crisp golden topped with a long lasting white head. Nose is citrus fruits, cereal malts, and some nice berries. taste is more of the fruity hops, cereal malts, a nice bitter touch on the front end but doesn’t finish with a bunch of bitterness. This is a nice and tasty easy drinker.
