Cask at Archibald Simpsons. It pours clear deep reddish - amber with a sturdy beige head. The aroma is bitter - sweet, sappy, resin, wood, resin, zingy grapefruit, brown bread and toffee. The taste is dry, bitter, woody, resin, old leather sofa, tannin, pithy, bitter citrus peel, grapefruit and a touch of toffee. Average body and fluff cask carbonation. I like the level of bitterness to this. Decent hoppy amber.
