Can. Just a light haze on this yellowish gold beer, something of a gusher, throws a very big pale cream colour head. Airy palate, pretty light, decent fine carbonation. Fluffy pale malts, a light creamy sweetness. Hops bring light cooling pine and very light but reasonably bright citrus. Not getting any real Strata or Nelson. Airy finish. Sigh. This is very likely my final brew from this very good brewery and, they normally smash this style. This particular beer is fine but not up to normal Phantom standards. So my last beer is a bit of a let down but, Phantom were a class act. I hope their brewing skills do not disappear from the industry..

Panda at home, thanks to the Bearded Avenger, 28/03/2026.
Must be down to the last few Phantom ticks I'm going to pick up now ... RIP!
Hazed orange topped with a just off white cap that thins to the edge.
Nose is passionfruit, guava, mandarin, papaya, blood orange.
Taste comprises juicy citric flesh, ripe melon, guava, papaya, kumquat.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spliced with juicy come lightly resinous hop bitterness.
Solid kit.

Can from Longacres Garden Centre, Sunningdale. Hazy pale gold. Massive thick foamy white head. Aroma had initial bitter stone fruit and spice, followed by sweet sugary fruit and porridge. Flavourwise it's more low key. Sweet sugary fruit with a sour edge. Peripheral bitterness is more noticeable into the finish. Light-medium bodied. Slick to creamy. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. Nice.

440ml can from Left Field Beer, Solihull. Poured a hazy yellow golden colour with a big, mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy, melon, stone fruits, spicy durian-like. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet, with a crisp, fresh, juicy citrus, piney, dry hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Tap at Phantom Echoes, Henley, 28th July 25. Pours hazy yellow orange, looks exactly the same is the other 2 beers I had here. Aroma is fruity, taste is citrus and tropical, good flavours for the abv
