Black colour with a tiny off-white head. Aroma is dried fruits, rye, chocolate syrup, some whiskey, mild wooden tones, quite evident alcohol and some vanilla tones too. Flavour is really intense, quite much same elements as in the aroma, but also some figs, liquorice and bourbon tones. Very intense, but highly drinkable. Though alcohol is evident, it doesn't burn on the gums, and actually suits into the big madness rather well. Very drinkable. Somewhere between a Barley Wine and Imp Stout.

Nose is fruit cake, spice, dark malts, molasses, booze, toffee.
Taste comprises molasses, bourbon rip, spice, molasses, brown sugar melt.
Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost.
Tidy sipper.

Pours black with a reddish hue and no head. Notes of vanilla, oak, dried boozy fruit, muscovado sugar, molasses. Nice boozy finish with a drying close. Lovely

ADTWD team tasting in sunny Halzlemere. A mild haze on this amber brown beer, small bubbly dark tan head. Smooth airy palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Light bodied malts but very rich, mellow dark chocolate, bitterish dark toffee, a little oak induced vanilla. Big bourbon and whiskey. Rounded but very rich. Rich fruity bourbon. Oak induced vanilla. Rich bourbon spicy fruity finish. Bloody Nora!

Aroma is semi sweet oily, hazelnut, green apple, raisin, fruit,. Flavour is composed of medium sweet, Warming alcohol, bourbon, cognac, nice warming alcohol, vanilla, oak. Palate is semi sweet, oily, staves, oak, boozy fruit. Palate is medium sweet, oiky, moderate carbonation. Fantastic.
