On tap at Peter's Brewhouse, pours a hazy dark amber with a small beige head. Aroma brings out bready malt and lightly sweet caramel. Flavour is clean enough, but lacking ambition, with bready malt and a hint of caramel. Competently brewed but lacking all ambition. Lame.

RBESG 2017, sampled on July 19, 2017.Peter’s Brewhouse, Riga. Pre-gathering.From tap.Hazy reddish brown color, white head. Sweet, malty, a tad grainy taste. Grainy aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel, low CO2 feeling. Low bitterness. Sweet, malty scent.6/3/6/3/12=3.0

On tap at the brewpub. Deep amber colour, off-white head. Aroma of butter, caramel, yeast. Flavour is buttery, caramel, yeasty, light grainy, light metallic bitterness. Light bodied.

@ the Brewpub. Cloudy coppery color with an off-white head, medium lasting. Aroma has bready notes, some toasted and light hoppy. Flavor has a light to mild bitterness, soma spicy and light caramel. Light maltiness in the final.
