At a tasting, smallish bubbly creamy head, murky black color, aroma of roasted coffee and mud with a bit of chocolate, chocolate flavor with light smokey notes, metal and black pepper spiciness. Nice and enjoyable.

33 cl can @ home, BBE 04/2018(?)
Aroma has strong mocha tones and some vegetable vibes typical to mocha beers. Flavour has mocha, some licorice, mild soy sauce tones and hints of ash. Also vanilla. Quite full-bodied and rich for this ABV. Pleasant.

33cl can from FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours dark brown with minimal foam. Aroma is rich in coffee. Body is smooth, fairly dense, with limited carbonation. Taste is particularly sweet in the final, due to lactose. Not pleasant, really.

(Keg at Kaisla, 20180412) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had burnt malts and creamy coffee. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, creamy coffee, burnt malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet, burnt and bitter. A pleasant sweet stout with coffee notes.

Nearly black, small light beige head. Sweet coffee, coffee candy aroma. Sweet coffee flavour. Some roasted malt too. I like the coffee flavour, but it could do with a little more complexity and body to be really great.

Can, 5.9%. Good mild coffee aroma. Black colour. Small frothy light brown head. The flavour has a good coffee note. Perhaps a little dusty lactose. The mouthfeel is a little thin, but OK for the ABV. Faintly citric finish. Good.
