5,3% ABV.

50cl received as a gift. Pours clear copper coloured with a minimal, off-white head. Malty and caramelly with mild herbal notes and hints of wood and vinegar. Sweet and slightly sour, so suspect it might be slightly off. Still drinkable, but not very enjoyable.

500mL bottle at Bambalyn, pours a deep dark reddish brown with a small beige head. Aroma and flavour are similar, with floral notes, an earthy character and biscuity malt. A little fruity, a little floral, and fairly dry with just a tinge of sweetness. Decent.

Small offwhite head. Clear brown body. Sugary fruity toffee aroma with caramel notes. Dry-sweet dusty strawy roasty taste with earthy herbal notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dry-bitter roasty caramel aftertaste with grassy herbal notes. Long, lingering toasty caramel finish. Faint astringency at the end. Interesting, full of character. Very good. (0.75l glass bottle, Bambalyne, Vilnius. Retasted from 1l PET bottle, also from Bambalyne. So this is the filtered version.)
