Growler share with Doug and Henry.
Reviewed from notes.
We all poured into chalices.
The appearance of mine was a mild hazy yellow color with a finger’s worth of a mild foamy white head. Delicate lace.
The aroma had some citrusy pulpy sweetness, some herbal qualities, dough, earthiness, subtle floral hints and some Belgian yeastiness.
The flavor seemed to have the previously mentioned aromas to collide collectively together with a delicate lenient earthy to sweet herbal aftertaste. Semi-cereal sweet sort of grassy finish.
The palate was about medium bodied with a decent sipping quality as the ABV was noticeable. Mild carbonation was felt but in a good way.
Overall, not a bad Quad or perhaps a Belgian ale, whatever, but it was good.

This is what I’m talking about. Hazy yellow, fizzy white head. Classic quad yeasty taste, could use some more balance with the ingredients but a very good beer.
