Tart-n-sour farmhouse meets tart-n-sour citrus for a tart-n-sour haymaker to the palate. Massive amounts of orange, clementine, lemon, and grapefruit flavors coming from the heirloom citrus peel, while the saison grassiness underlines the fruit with a spicy herbaceous backbone. Moderate sweetness from the malts adds hints of clove and wheat, while the back end kicks up the funk, gaining a vein of straight horseblanket to shore up the fade. Tasty, but grows to be a bit much after a while--one pint and I'm good. Pours a lovely hazed orange-gold with a voluminous white head and modest lacing. Yeast, citrus, grass, and funk on the nose. Sparkly, boisterous feel is spot-on for a saison. Nice beer.

Bottle sample at the Funk Collective at BFS. Hazy to cloudy yellow color, white head. Aroma od dusty overripe lemon. Taste is lightly peppery citrus. Nice.
