Imperial Stout Aged in Two Different Types of Premium Bourbon Barrels with Coconut & Papua New Guinea Coffee
This beer was brewed in collaboration with Kyle at Horus Aged Ales. The Papua New Guinea Coffee was sourced and roasted by West Bean Coffee. This massive stout has intense notes of chocolate, caramel, and rich, sweet bourbon followed by delicate notes of dried fruit, honey, and citrus zest from the coffee.

Bottle I received for Christmas in 2020 during COVID. Aged almost 5 years and shared with Matt. Pours deep black with massive dark brown head. Viscous and coats the side of the glass when swirling. Massive coffee on both aroma and flavor balance well with the boozy aspects from the barrel. Such an amazing beer!!!!

Inky black, small tan head, good lacing. Espresso, fudge. Mocha, vanilla, bourbon, palo Santo maron wood. Flavor is really sweet, light plus bitter. Full body, creamy mouthfeel. I didn't pick up on coconut, fwiw. 5,9,8,5,16
