#lambiclauantai. Vinous and intensely grapey with hints of berries, tannins and funky farmyardy sourness. Feels more complex and vinous than previous Lamvinus vintages.

St. Lamvinous (Syrah, Grenache Noir, 5% Merlot) - On tap at Pasta Madre. Dark garnet/purple pour with no real head. All vinous nose. Wow, this is different. It much closer to a wine. I understand that this keg is young. It’s delicious but definitely a departure from traditional St. Lamv. The grape varietals play against each other but in the most pleasing way. The add complexity and not so subtle nuisances. Somewhat on the tart side with the barnyard and funk lurking in the background. Great body and mouthfeel.
