From its West Coast roots, our flagship IPA Soundwave has become a little softer, juicier, and more tropical over the years, but now we’re taking it into full haze territory with the help of the legends at Verdant! This mash-up with their delicious Neal Gets Things Done delivers heaps of mango, orange, grapefruit, and gooseberry goodness. Fermented with Verdant’s house yeast and loaded with a generous double-teamed dry hop

Tap at the St Albans beer festival 2025. A translucent golden yellow coloured pour with a lasting loose white head. Aroma is soft doughy wheat, midget gems, orange. Tangerine, melon. Flavour is composed of semi sweet soft milky wheat, orange rind. Opal fruit, little sticky sweet wheat. Palate is soft wheat milky, moderate carbonation. Not bad.

440ml can thanks to Neal (not the one the beer is referencing!). Hazy golden, white head. Aroma of melon, grape, mango, guava. Taste of melon and grape, ripe tropical fruits, mango, guava, slightly sweet, light hop bitterness. Medium bodied, noticeably softer than Siren's usual hazies. Nice one.

Keg at the Grapes, Oxford, 16/08/2025.
Hazed orange amber topped with a lasting off white cap ... some lacing follows.
Nose is bitter orange, dank chimes, bitter tropical fruit esters.
Taste comprises grapefruit, mandarin, pine nibble, melon.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with juicy to lightly danko hop bitterness.
Tidy enough but perhaps expected a little more from this pairing of brewers.
