Barrel-Aged Beer with Beets & Strawberries
Experimental and playful on the palate, this sipper will convince you that vegetables do, in fact, belong in beer. Two base beers met 300 kg of hand-cut and blended beets to create a charmingly earthy foundation. We then blended in a small amount of our annual strawberry release, which plays an important yet subtle supporting role, providing balanced acidity and a hint of perceived sweetness.

Bright red and opaque. You can definitely tell it's made with beets. Big beet on the nose. Light strawberry on the palate, though the palate is mostly beets. Decent balance to the base beer, but holy shit that's a lot of beets.

Bottle pour at Farmhouse Fest 2025, pours an opaque darkish red with no head. Aroma is full of intense earthy beets, light bugginess, and some hay. Flavour is very beet-forward, with plenty of tartness, light bugginess, and a touch of bugs. Tons of earthy beets and tartness. Not a huge fan but it works.
