Barrel-Aged Beer w/Rhubarb
Notes of: Pie Filling, Rocket Candy, Salt Rock
In a first for The Establishment - customers, friends, and family all brought in stalks from their garden rhubarb in varying varieties and ripeness, resulting in an incredible depth of rhubarb flavour with supporting notes of black pepper, herbal tea, and rocket candy. The initial palate will take you straight to your auntie’s down home prairie rhubarb pie, and with every sip you'll taste the love and energy of our community.

Pale amber with a slight haze. Medium head. Mellow brett to this, and a decent rhubarb tartness and fruitiness. Going solo with the rhubarb is a bit of a bold call, though, at least for me since I'm not nuts about it.

Bottle pour at Farmhouse Fest 2025, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma has gentle rhubarb, light salt, and a touch of funk. Flavour is full of rhubarb pie, moderate sugar, medium acidity, and a touch of funk. Very easy-drinking despite the acidity and depth. Very good.
