Pours hazy yellow into a snifter. Bright white head with excellent retention recedes leaving sheet lacing. Pineapple and oak aromas. Dry with salty oak and earthy hay upfront turning to slightly tart lemon and lime before the medium length dried wood finish.

Poured into a stange, the appearance was a hazy yellow color with a fingers worth of white foamy head that fell off at a decent pace. Not much lace, somewhat sliding.
The aroma had some sour lemons, lactic/funk, slight dried grass/hay, slight salt and a touch of dried earthy to woodiness underneath.
The flavor was semi-sour with some funk and tartness. Salt embraces the background. Aftertaste was somewhat spritzy with a drawing floral quality right before the finish.
The palate was between light and medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt fine.
Overall, more of just a sour ale, as I didnt get the wheaty portion in it. Yes, the salt level is there, but the wheat, we need the soured wheaty portion in this, Grimm, just saying.
