Aroma: very juicy, tropical fruits, some sweetness.
Taste: a lot of ripen tropical fruits, noticeably boozy, but that booziness is kind mixed with fruit, moderately sweet.
Overall: I wish less booziness here, but otherwise I like it.

On tap at Threefold, pours an opaque pulpy orange juice-like substance with a small white head. Aroma is chaotic, with perfumey hops, lots of booze, and pithy stone fruits—and of course some chalky hopburn in there. Flavour is on the sweeter side, with tons of booze, perfumey hops, stone fruit juiciness, and potent hop oils. Extremely boozy and rather harsh, with too much sugar. Super chaotic and difficult to drink but not disastrous.

On tap at Threefold. Pours opaque dull yellow with a white head. Spent pot and moldy citrus on the nose. Flavour has a very thick malt body, super syrupy and sweet, some grapefruit juice, and dirty spent pot. Way too brutally thick and sweet; completely lopsided. Making a beer 11% is not enough to make it good.

Oct 7, 2025 (7/3/7/3/13=3.3): Heard a few people saying this was hitting it's prime last week (with some age) so decided to give it one more go. Poured from 473mL can (pkg 2025 Aug 13). Opaque golden orange with white head. Still getting those allium notes, still a bit muddled, not getting the veg or hop burn any more though. Some underlying boozy heat on the finish. A bit better with a 1.5 months on it, but still a little rough around the edges.

Aug 23, 2025 (6/3/6/3/13=3.1): Poured from the tap @ Threefold. Murky yellow with small white head. Mild tropical hops with some allium notes, muddled, sort of juicy, but with a hint of veg character and some background hop burn. Messy, ABV hidden-ish.

Dullish murked out appearance. Good head but kinda ugly otherwise. Okay that’s boozy. More alcohol than anything else. A bit of terpeneish hop and kludgey slurry-ass malt — I am not a fan. The hop hints in the right direction but TIPA is hard to brew, you need a lot of reps to get it right.
