DDH West Coast Pilsner

Citra Incognito, Citra Cryo, Loral Cryo, Saaz

We teamed up with two brewing legends and great humans: Connor Blanchard and Justin Larter, for this one. Generator is our unapologetic remix of a Pilsner: where old-world German brewing meets the bold hop-throttle of North America.

We kicked things off with top-tier Pilsner Malt from @fieldfivefarm (𝘝𝘒𝘯𝘀𝘰𝘢𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘐𝘴𝘭𝘒𝘯π˜₯ π˜™π˜¦π˜±π˜³π˜¦π˜΄π˜¦π˜―π˜΅), built a clean, solid Pilsner base, and laid down a beautiful bed of Saaz on the hot side. Then came the cold fermentation, 𝐜𝐨π₯𝐝 𝐀𝐅, before flipping the switch on a West Coast hop overload. We’re talking: Citra Incognito, Citra Cryo and Loral Cryo.

On tap at The Magnet. Pours clear gold with a white head. Lots of resinous pine and dank oils on the nose. Flavour has fairly assertive pine, dank oils; solid malt base. Solid, nice hop expression.

Poured from 473mL can (pkg 29 July 2025). Clear yellow gold with small white head. It's fairly clean, but the hops are all over the place - mild melon and grass with touches of onion. Decent, but a bit directionless.

Bright pale gold. Oniony as fuck. Sticky malts. Underfermented, by quite a bit. Onions galore. Who the fuck wants a sticky, oniony pilsner?

On tap at Farmhouse Fest 2025, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma has lots of bright piney hops, some dankness, and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is dry, with some piney and grassy hops, crisp biscuity malt, and straw. Crisp, dry and biting. Good stuff.
