Dominus Double is a refreshing abbey beer with a long-lasting flavour, leaving a well-balanced bitter aftertaste with a spicy touch. Roasted and quite hoppy, the aromas develop elegantly with hints of old, slightly dry wood. It has a crystalline colour, dark red with caramel highlights. The head is thick and creamy.

Bottle from Venerables. Pours a dark orange - red colour with an off-white head. Nose is brown sugar, candy, fruits, spices, Flavour is sweet malted, caramel, raisins, slightly sour fruits. Medium carbonation.Slightly bitter and fairly sweet finish.

0.33L bottle, another belgian gusher with a beige head that disolves rather quickly, murky dark brown colour, aroma of fudge, with hints of dark fruits amd cola, flavour of milk chooclate with some dried fruits and cola and a light bitterness and a pleasant chocolaty finish. Nice pleasant dubbel

Bottle. Opens with a bit of a gusher. Dark brown color with a big beige head. Caramelly aroma with dark fruits, some yeast, alcohol and a bit of licorice. Sweet flavor of caramelly malt and dark fruits and a slightly drier finish with spicy and alcoholic hints. Medium-bodied but feels too thin and somewhat over-carbonated. Not my thing.

Bottle: Poured a dark walnut brown with a off white head. The aroma is a nice mix of dark fruits and sweet malt. Nice warming alcohol with loaads of fruit and malt.
