For our eighth anniversary we wanted to show off some of the depth that we have built into our stout program, which is why we brought back this beer: Streams!
It is composed of the three separate “streams” of base stout recipes that we currently brew, barrel age, and package: internally we call them S05, house yeast and wheat stout. They are three distinct recipes that provide us with a stout flavor palate that is diverse and exciting to blend with.
This beer is a blend of all three streams independently aged in the following barrels: Basil Hayden for 19 months, Willet bourbon for 26 months and Wild Turkey for 19 months.
It is a decadent melange of stout, exceptionally well coopered oak, bourbon and time.

Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a dark brown foamy head with some retention and some lacing notes. Aroma of chocolate notes with some deep bourbon notes with light vanilla notes. Taste is also a mix of chocolate notes with some deep bourbon notes and vanilla notes with residual sugar notes. Body is full with an oily texture and good carbonation with light discernible alcohol notes. Solid triple BA stout with a sweet finale and nice woody notes.
