Poured up on tap at the brewpub where it exhibits a murky deep gold body that has copper hues and supports a near white head of foam. The aroma offers up a fresh woody flowery meadow, cedar and Douglas Fur like woodiness and then light saison spices and fruity esters in the background. The taste delivers a hit of sweet pale malts, a dash of red apple sweetness and then dryer and punchier woody and flowery floral notes. Behind those notes are a formidable load of juicy citrus hops and grassy hops. This one creates a pleasing balance and stays a little dryer than most saison, works for me.

Draft at Salud. Hazy yellow color, fluffy white head. Floral perfume aroma. Taste is lightly funky peppery straw. Tasty.
