Twenty-eight months in the making, the brewing of Tidal Disruption has been an exercise in patience. It began by aging the base beer for nearly two years in our original, 1936 cypress wood lagering tanks. The brew was then transferred onto 4,800 pounds of blackberries and allowed to age for an additional four months. The resulting beer is medium to light in body and deep purple in color. Its high level of carbonation highlights the bright, tart aromas while the complex character of the blackberries takes center stage.

Thanks Khalil for sharing the bottle! Poured into a snifter showing lightly filtered blackberry hues and sparse white foam lacing. The nose shows grainy corn. (somethingโs off here) The palate is light bodied and lightly carbonated. Moderately tart with flavors of blueberry throughout.

Sampled from the tap at All Pints North. Pours a hazy purple with a pink head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a lot of blackberries, slight tartness and a bit of wheat underlying. Flavor is full of blackberries that are slightly tart and a hint of wheat underlying.

ABR 2016. Much better than the 12th beer in the series. Dark purple color. Berry arom and berry flavor. Some yeast, lightly sour. Really great appearance and it seems thick on the palate and the pink foam looks good too. Strong berry flavor and berry in the finish.
