De Witte Haring is a refreshing classic Belgian-style witbier (our first ever, mind you). Classic as it has a Belgian yeast, orange peel and Indian coriander seeds. A subtle late hop gives it that little extra De Kromme Haring twist.

(Draught at De Kromme Haring, Utrecht, 14 Aug 2025) Hazy pale golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity nose with citrus, wheat, bread, grass and clove. Fruity, herbal taste with notes of bread, citrus, clove and coriander. Low grassy bitterness. Medium body, quite dry. Refreshing and quite drinkable. Nice one.

Dorada ligeramente nebulosa de dos dedos de espuma de retención media. Rico aroma especiado, cilantro, levadura, notas cítricas. Excelente textura, perfecto punto de gas, suave y oleosa. Seca, de amargor pronunciado. Excelente sabor lupulado, herbal, notas de pomelo. Muy buena.

Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. Hopped up Wit featuring notes of orange peel, citrus, coriander, peppery yeast and a hint of tropical fruit. Nicely bitter with a light sweetness. Medium body. Great specimen in an otherwise boring style.

330ml can. Hazy, yellow-ish, bright golden colour with small to average, fluffy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Wheaty malty and slightly spicy, minimally yeasty fruity and yeasty spicy aroma, a touch of coriander, banana, clove, whiffs of old orange peel. Taste is wheaty malty, slightly spicy, slightly zesty, citrusy fruity as well as yeasty spicy and yeasty fruity, low residual sweetness, hints of lemon, orange peel, some coriander, a touch of clove, banana.
Watery texture, minimally dry palate, medium, dense, prickly carbonation.
Starts minimally imbalanced and heterogeneous, minimally dull, gains freshness due to citrusy hoppiness after a while - nice.
