Sample at Under Brew Skies 2017. Brewers calls this a wee heavy, and I think it is. Clear deep amber color. Aroma of burnt caramel. Taste is toasted caramel, subtle black pepper.

Sampled from the tap at ABR 2016. Pours a clear deep amber orange with a tan head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a lot of bread and grain with a hint of toffee and straw backing. Flavor has notes of grains, bread, toffee and a bit of caramel underlying.
