Our Holiday beer, 'figgy pudding alr' hibernated in a couple of friendly rum barrels from Devine Distillery in Saanichton over thr long winter-spring months. The result easily a well rounded Belgian quad with notes of oak and rum.

Pale brown. Thin head. Mild rum barrel, some phenols, but a decent toffee note as well. The sugars are nice on the palate, and there's warming alcohol. It doesn't not work.

650mL bottle at FHF 2025, pours a clear dark amber brown with a small beige head. Aroma has somewhat harsh rum barrels, Belgian yeast, and some spiciness. Flavour is reasonably integrated, with harsh, low-quality rum barrels, spicy Belgian yeast, and earthy notes. A bit harsh but reasonably integrated. Okay.
