500mL bottle, pours a clear blonde with a medium white head. Nose has gentle smoke, wheaty notes, and some straw. Flavour is similar, bringing out a more restrained smokiness than typical Schlenkerla, but on point for the style. There’s soft, dry wheatiness underpinning it. Very competently made. This is how you make a grodziskie.

Bottle from Westhill Service Station. It pours lively deep golden - blonde with a thick, mr-whippy-style white head. The aroma is quite soft initially with building wood smoke, bonfire embers, smokey bacon crisps, twist of lemony citrus and farmhouse style bread. The taste is crisp, firmly dry, pithy, zingy lemon, citrus peel, hay, straw, dry oak, firm smoke character which builds and lingers, savoury and a touch of smokey bacon with a dry finish. Light body and lively, foamy carbonation. Easy going and very drinkable stuff.

0.5l bottle, huge thanks Ryan for sharing. Hazy golden body, off-white head. Surprisingly buttery smokey aroma, bit woody, meaty, soapy, floral, but mostly buttery. Bit malty, smokey, buttery, dry taste, lightly astringent. Okay but... It lost to a Grodziskie from Seattle today. And that one is far from the best I'd had. Disappointing...

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Smoked pale malt aroma with notes of minerals, grain, grass. Nice dry bitterness, body drinks above its mere 2.8% abv.

Hazy golden. Aroma is moderate smoke, medium berries with light apricot and some malt. Taste is a bit rough hops but quite balanced with sweetish malt. Fine bubbled. Quaffable. Good.
