Paying homage to Fort Point's manufacturing history, Pittsburgh Street was originally named after the Pittsburgh Plate Glass Company. Pittsburgh Street is now known as Thomson Place, named after the Thomson Reuters media firm when they bought the Boston Wharf Company brick and beam building.

This iteration of our flagship American IPA series highlights New Zealand Peacherine Hops. These truly unique hops have distinct notes of stone fruit with undertones of lime zest and a slight floral character Pittsburgh Street IPA has a soft, pillowy mouthfeel accentuated by a light, biscuity malt character balanced against a touch of spice for a gentile bite and a crisp finish.

HOPS: Peacherine, CTZ
MALT: American 2-Row Barley, White Wheat, C-15, Dextrine, Dextrose

Reviewed from notes.
Can to tulip.
Appearance: beautiful thick orange haziness with a finger's worth of white foamy head which settled off at a nice pace to leave some light lace
Aroma: peaches, nectarines, apricots, lime, mixed citrusy hops, light pine and a touch of sweet onions; super light clean malts
Flavor: meshes all those prior noted aromas to a stellar bittersweet to sweet juicy quality; finishes very clean and juicy through those aromas
Texture: medium bodied - maybe just a touch under; leaning towards being sessionable, very smooth along the tongue, nice low carb, low hop bitterness
Overall: a very nicely done NEIPA well worthy of returning to.
