A pleasant surprise from this brewery. A black ipa at the American level, well brewed, roasted malt and smooth, chocolate with some fruity notes, well balanced and subtle, 21.08.21, rating this one at Epalinges.

Bottle from a trade with CH-303, thanks! Aroma is softly roasted malt and chocolate with a touch of fruity hops. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and above moderate bitter. Body is medium. Pretty tasty with a good chocolate malt profile, could have used more hops though, it’s more of a hoppy Stout.

Bouteille 33cl achetée au Salon Suisse des Goûts et Terroirs à Bulles, BB 12/03/2019. Brune foncée, col café au lait. Arôme d'agrumes, fruité, léger résineux apportant un effet c-hops américain - rétro léger de malt grillé. Palais est léger malté, grillé avec une belle balance des houblons, le tout est léger et frais - petite note de myrtille, menthe fraîche, agrumes.

Bottle (thanks ch-303). ours dark brown with light brownish head. Aroma is roast, citrus, malt, slight booze. Flavor is sweet and bitter, roast, citrus, sugar, malt. Bottle from trade with Asbjorn, and shared at Dan’s. Pours hazy black with a lasting off-white head. Aroma of hop, chocolate, and fruit. Moderate sweetness and bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, above average carbonation.

Many thanks for this beer to CH-303. Piwo ma srednia pianke bezowej barwy, nawet trwala jest. Ciemne brazowe piwo, od poczatku metne, geste, pachnie melasa, chmielami i kawa. W smaku lukrecja, lekka nuta pieprzu, kawa dobrej jakosci, gozka zekolada, kakao, i grapefruitowy posmak. Wytrawne, tresciwe i po porstu smaczne.

Bottle from trade with Ch-303, many thanks. Dark brown color with huge light beige head. Aroma of light coffee,citrus hops. Light coffee, roasted malt, citrus hops, zest. Medium long light hoppy bitter finish. Good, however I wish there would be more hops.

Pours a black color, topped with a medium sized beige head, ok retention. Nice hoppy aroma with sweet fruits. Some mild roasty presence in the back. Moderate bitterness with citrusy presence quite noticeable. Dry finish. Medium body, though a bit more on the light side. A decent BIPA, though no fireworks.

Many thanks to Erzengel for sharing! Pours murk dark brown with a huge most good lasting tan head. Aroma of chocolate, vanilla, roasted malt and spruce. Taste of mild dark roasted malt, coffee, liquorice, mild bitter hops, good stuff!
