Sample at Ale Wine & Spirits in Powell on 01/03/2013. Black pour with brown around the edges and a medium tan head that diminishes steadily to a film. Small patches of lace. Aroma of roast malt, coffee and chocolate. Full-bodied with flavors of charred malt, espresso and dark chocolate. The finish is roasty with a coffee and malt aftertaste. Good beer all around.
