Sample during the Secret Barrel Society tour on 05/24/2014: The beer is a dark purple-maroon color with a thin pinkish-white head that dissipates quickly to an outer ring. Spots of lace. Aroma of raspberry, oak and yeast. Light to medium body with a tart raspberry character and flavors of oaky vanilla, sherry and doughy malt. The finish is oaky and tart with a lingering raspberry aftertaste. Overall a very good "base" Lambic from Upland.
