Big, bold, and bursting with hops. A smooth malt base, complemented by a touch of English Crystal Malt, gives this beer a rich medium-body character.
We kick things off with El Dorado and Citra hop extracts in the boil. Then we turn things way up with a massive dry hop — delivering a flavour of citrus, mango, pineapple and a subtle dank twist.

Amber, some haze. The aroma comes across as a flabby malt and orangey, gloppy hop expression, with a lot of alcohol. Sticky, boozy, the hop is a mess, and the base malt is also a mess. And everything is a mess, and I feel bad for the El Dorado for being included in this. A lot of bad elements that don't come together.

440mL can, pours a cloudy dark orange with a small white head. Aroma is on the malty side, with plenty of dry bready caramel malts, resinous hops, and some weird sugary notes. Flavour is unpleasant in hop expression, with some sweaty hop character, toasted dry caramel, bready notes, and some oily resins. Bad recipe or bad hop product or both? Whatever it is, this doesn’t work.

Poured from 440mL can (pkg 01/07/2025; bb 01/07/2026). Lightly hazed amber gold with minimal white head. Sweaty citrus and allium hops, mild biscuit malt, average.
