Can 33 cl. Pours black and syrupy thick with a creamy, neat light brown head leaving some lacework. Lovely aroma of sweet chocolate and vanilla. Rich body, sweet - very sweet - choco/vanilla notes but also a rather od spiciness. A bit of coffee. Warming alcohol. Strats better than it finishes. 090226

Full body, med-high carbo. Med-high bitter, med-high sweet, med warmth, a bit sharp. Lots of cocoa, med coffee, toffee, also med dried fruits. Rich, intense. Good one.

0.33 l can from 'Mr. Hop', best before October 2027. Black with a thin, frothy, almost stable, light brown head. Sweetish-malty, gently roasty aroma of hazelnut, vanilla, chocolate and some coffee. Rather sweet, malty, gently bitter, fairly roasty taste of dark chocolate, roasted hazelnut, vanilla and coffee, followed by a medium long, quite roasty-bitter finish. Full body, smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Good.
